Ashover are a long established village cricket club, playing in a beautiful part of Derbyshire on a picturesque ground and with modern well appointed facilities. The pavilion features spacious changing rooms complete with showers and a welcoming bar area with drinks at reasonable prices. We are now one of only a few Cricket Club's in Derbyshire to have attained CLUBMARK status.

With the help of Ashover Parish Council we have recently purchased an Artificial Cricket strip. This strip will be used on the Club's official practice nights and by the Juniors and Mid-week friendly sides.

We run Five league teams, three play on Saturdays in Divisions 4N, 7N and 10N of the Derbyshire County Cricket League, and the other two play in the Mansfield & District Cricket League Divisions 1 and 6 on Sundays. Coupled with this, we also play some friendly games in midweek under the banner of Ashover Casuals.

Thanks to Dave Cooke our youth team manager, Ashover has a thriving junior section, turning out teams at under 12, under 13 and under 15 levels, plus we run a Kwik cricket evening every Friday from early May until late July. Many of our current players have graduated through these ranks to supplement the old timers amongst us, but the door is always open to new players of any age or ability, we will ensure that you get to play cricket. If you would like to know more, please contact any of the officials.
